Was The Dream For This?
Happy Martin Luther King Day!!! The bible says many are called but few are chosen! I believe this was meant for Dr. Marin Luther King!!! At a young age he made a difference and changed things. Then he began to stand for something while others fell for anything. As he went to jail..he went for a reason. As he marched with others, as the song, as they walked young and old. It was for a reason. The I have a dream speech was for a reason. Now was the boycotts, the march, the dream, and everything they went through in vain? What happen? Why do we constantly bring down each other? We know who started gang banging, stealing, killing. Even fathers and mothers not stepping up to their parenting plate. Now I want know why? Was the dream for this? Why do continue to hate on each other? Steal from each other? What happen to helping your neighbor? Having a sale of some kind if your neighbor don't have money to pay her bills. Instead we laugh at each other when they are going through many different things. I don't think the dream was given to Dr. Martin for what society has done. Will this change no! I think society has trained each other to be jealous, rude, and to slander each other. BUT REALLY I DON'T THINK THE DREAM WAS FOR THIS!

Nothing will change until ppl stand up for what is right - what is " right" is only a matter of opinion - and make themselves heard! Society has lower standards and are accepting of little bc life has become so fast paced and expensive! Think about the womens right movemnt! Our rights are no not were they should be - we have come up - but look at where this right has taken us! Moms must work to help keep the family afloat and lack the time to really teach their children right from wrong! While many rights movements have positive intent, consequences do fallow and not always in a positive direction!
